Today marks the 13th day of the 6000 Km Cycle Cross Country Tour tour which brothers Carel Viljoen and Deon Viljoen embarked on. They are Cycling to raise fund and awareness for the Child Witness Foundation and Institute, a national project of Round Table Southern Africa.
They left Vryheid, KwaZulu-Natal on the 3rd of July 2017 arriving in Tzaneen today 15 July 2017. The journey has been amazing, cycling completely unsupported the riders faced several technical issues in the first two weeks which stopped the wheels from rolling but with the help of many incredible individuals problems were sorted and repairs done to get the riders back on the road.
The Tour would not be possible without the generosity of local businesses along the way, sponsoring accommodation and meals. All the Round Tables along the way got involved to host and feed the two brothers and to raise awareness of the project in their local districts.
